Stumbled on the amazing work of Irish illustrator Steve Simpson. He has a ton of editorial and design work on his site to be admired, but what I really loved where his children book illustrations like these ones for Dragún. It looks as though he’s working on an ipad app as well if you check out his blog. Will definitely be staying tuned for that!
I love all these little monster characters by Michael Slat. Great texture and style. He also has a few kids books under his belt as well as a Shop you can check out.

I love the mix between Yasmeen Ismail‘s whimsical watercolours, cut paper and DIY-esque photocopy images. Although her illustrations are incredibly polished and beautiful, they have this carefree quality to them the way children’s illustrations do. Love all her work. Pick up some of her prints here.
