As someone who is married to an in-house designer for a University, I know how challenging it can be to cut through all the red tape and do something really different. It’s possible and he does it everyday but it’s a never ending battle and gives the term “designed by committee” a whole new meaning. So props to 160/90 from Philly for challenging their client and coming up with this completely appropriate mail-out directed at soon to be high school graduates. It really succeeds at standing out among other mail-outs by avoiding overused, bland stock photography and the standard glossy book format.

As an added bonus, one of good friends and colleagues has just moved to Philly from Calgary to begin work with 160/90 so congrats to Justin and good luck.
